Writing about things that gather mass-appeal (in this case more Followers), are collectively approved by the mainstream masses, venerable ways to get your life together, how to be a more respected and dignified person, the deepest secrets behind holding your guard up at all costs, ways to avoid embarrassment, are the things that are definitely not what this blog is about.

Throughout the centuries there were men who took first steps down new roads armed with nothing but their own vision. There is nothing that is more obnoxious than a person saying he is…but clearly isn’t.
I like table manners, dreamcatchers, books, waffles, empathy, money, early mornings, typewriters, cats, over-thinking, purple, cobbled roads, words, horses, sweaters, British accents, indie movies, sarcasm and poetry. By all means I am sapiosexual, infer from that what you will. Couldn’t care less. I have an affinity for all things in black and white. I do not stand for things (or people) I don’t believe in. Some days I don’t believe in anything.

This blog exists because it is a way of letting myself feel. What I write is what I am. This is me, essentially bare.

  3. Sapiosexulaity.
Interesting. I’d define it as being infatuated with anything that is even remotely Sapiovated.

    1. We have already joked about this for me to say anything further.

But for everyone else, Sapiosexuality is when words, sentences and grammar turn you on.

      1. I must admit, sapiosexuality was foreign to me. I googled it. Love!

  4. Considering that most people in their teens/20s spend their time worrying about the world, following the status-quo, or pouting for FB, this blog enthuses vitality. You might as well add “precocious” to the “best described as” list above.

-By a fellow grammar Nazi, as well as a sapiosexual… nothing is more erotic than intellect or a pursuit for greater intellect!

P.S. – The “g” should NOT be capitalized; “grammar Nazi”! 🙂

    1. “Precocious” is an amazing word. It overwhelms me that anyone could think so highly of my attempts at writing.

Also, it made me even happier that you noticed that slight.
I can all but owe you this explanation.
Using capitalisation for Certain Words is a stylistic device which I came across while reading The God Of Small Things by Arundhati Roy.
Many of my articles will have that type of capitalisation usage, just like in the phrase Grammar Nazi.

      1. You’re welcome. But does it really overwhelm you? Are you not narcissistic enough? 😉

About the capitalization, and the obscure distinction between poetry and modern day writing, Point Noted. 😀

Some more words you might adore: chutzpah, cathexis.

  8. Your blog is anything BUT sloppy. Unless of course sloppy means captivating! Empathy, words, horses and purple. These are enough to keep me coming back here.

    1. Thank you so much. Sloppy paired with the word Etymology is actually a cheeky wordplay. It made sense in my head, at least. Thank you for connecting with the things that appeal to me the most. It means a lot to me!
